Certifying Instructor: Wilderness Education Association (WEA); Wind River Range, WY expeditions, '87-'93.

Instructor for National Standard Program for Outdoor Leadership Certification, a college-level course including leadership training, outdoor skills, local and natural history in a month-long intensive.

Lead Instructor: Great Hollow Wilderness School (GHWS), CT. '87-'91.

Led expeditions with Upward Bound, youth-at-risk, high school, college-level populations.
Designed and implemented staff-training workshops, special-need courses, curriculum, logistics.
